Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DFW After Fire collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit DFWAfterFire.com or reach out to us about a fire-damaged property.
1. Overview
DFW After Fire operates this website to help North Texas homeowners understand their options after fire damage -- whether that's restoration, rebuilding, or selling. DFW After Fire is a trade name of Dallas Investment Partners LLC. This policy covers information collected through DFWAfterFire.com and any related forms, calls, texts, or emails you exchange with us. By using this site, you agree to the practices described below.
2. Information We Collect
We collect two general categories of information:
- Information you give us directly. When you submit our property form or otherwise contact us, this typically includes your name, phone number, email address, and property address, along with any details you choose to share about the fire damage or your situation.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic usage data when you visit -- pages viewed, general location inferred from your IP address, device and browser type, and which marketing channel or campaign referred you (captured via UTM parameters in the URL). This is gathered through cookies and similar browser-storage technology.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiry and follow up about your property;
- Provide guidance on your restoration, rebuilding, or sale options, and make you a cash offer to purchase your property directly if selling is the path you choose;
- Understand which pages and marketing channels are working, so we can keep improving the site; and
- Meet our legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.
4. Cookies & Analytics
We use PostHog, a third-party analytics provider, to understand how visitors use this site (for example, which pages are viewed and which marketing campaigns bring visitors here). PostHog uses cookies and browser local storage to do this. We do not use this data to build an advertising profile of you or serve you ads, and we do not currently run any third-party ad-tracking pixels (such as Meta or Google Ads pixels) on this site.
You can control or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not prevent you from submitting our property form or contacting us, though some site analytics may not function as intended.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it in limited circumstances:
- With service providers who help us operate this site or our business (for example, analytics or hosting providers), under obligations to keep it confidential;
- As required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights or the safety of others; or
- In connection with a business transaction such as a merger or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
6. Data Retention
We retain the information you submit for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, provide the guidance or service you requested, and satisfy legal, accounting, or recordkeeping requirements. If you ask us to delete your information and we have no ongoing legal or business need to retain it, we will do so.
7. Your Choices & Rights
You can opt out of further marketing contact from us at any time by replying "STOP" to a text message, replying "unsubscribe" to an email, or emailing us directly at Info@DFWAfterFire.com.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information -- for example, California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) to know what personal information we hold about them and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information, so there is no "sale" to opt out of. To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 10 below.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy & Contact Us
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do.
